I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Supervision and I am able to provide supervision for:
Counsellors in training
I am a BACP registered Counsellor/Psychotherapist (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) working with individuals and couples.
I offer brief or longer term therapy and my counselling approach is integrative with an emphasis on humanistic. My overarching approach is Person-Centred and I am able to incorporate existential, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Behavioural Systems Therapy into my work. I use Hawkins and Shohet’s seven eyed integrative model for supervision enabling me to work with therapists from a variety of theoretical approaches.
Aims of Supervision
I aim to provide a warm, non-judgemental and collaborative relationship, valuing honesty and openness, maintaining ethical and boundaried practice. I will also aim to take into account your style of learning and approach and to provide the right balance of support and challenge, enabling you to reflect on your own practice and the relationship between yourself and your clients.
